This Universal Privacy Policy governs all desktop utilities, widgets, and software applications developed and published by crazykenvn on the Microsoft Store (including the GhostHUD Suite — GhostHUD Chart, GhostHUD Reader — and all future applications released under the crazykenvn publisher account).

Our core engineering principle is 100% Local-First Privacy: our applications operate directly on your Windows device without collecting, harvesting, profiling, or selling any personal information.

No Personal Data (Zero PII) We never collect names, emails, phone numbers, IP addresses, or device identifiers.
No Telemetry or Ads Zero third-party tracking SDKs, analytics beacons, or advertising networks.
100% Local Storage All settings, files, and preferences stay exclusively on your personal computer.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

When you install or use any application published by crazykenvn, the software:

  • Does NOT collect Personal Identifiable Information (PII): No account registration, login, email address, or personal profile is required.
  • Does NOT track user behavior: We do not embed Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Sentry, or any telemetry/crash-reporting trackers.
  • Does NOT upload user files or clipboard content: Any document, text, code snippet, or configuration opened inside our applications is processed strictly in local memory (RAM) on your device and is never transmitted to any external server.
  • Does NOT access cameras, microphones, contacts, or precise geolocation.

3. Local Storage & External Network Requests

3.1 Local Configuration Files

To remember your preferences across sessions (such as window position, opacity, theme color, hotkeys, and trial/license status), our applications store lightweight JSON configuration files inside your local Windows user profile directory (for example, ~/.ghosthud_* or %USERPROFILE%). You may inspect or delete these files at any time. Uninstalling the application or deleting its configuration folder removes all stored preferences.

3.2 Optional Public Data Endpoints

Certain applications that display live market or financial charts (such as GhostHUD Chart) connect solely to public, read-only financial market data endpoints (e.g., public Binance / Yahoo Finance OHLCV candle streams) to render live price charts on your screen. No personal data or user identifiers are sent with these requests. Offline applications (such as GhostHUD Reader) make zero external data requests.

4. Windows Desktop Capabilities (runFullTrust) & Licensing

4.1 Desktop Bridge & Win32 Capabilities

Our Windows desktop applications are packaged using Microsoft's MSIX Desktop Bridge (Windows.FullTrustApplication / runFullTrust). This capability is used strictly to:

  • Invoke standard Windows user32.dll window style APIs (SetWindowLongW with WS_EX_LAYERED and WS_EX_TRANSPARENT) to provide translucent, always-on-top, click-through desktop HUD overlays.
  • Provide system tray integration and user-configurable desktop hotkeys.
  • Read local files explicitly chosen by the user via standard Windows file picker dialogs.

All applications execute in standard user mode, never request Administrator elevation, and never modify Windows system files.

4.2 Microsoft Store Licensing & Purchases

App purchases and free trials are processed securely through the official Microsoft Store billing platform. We do not receive, process, or store your credit card or payment details. Offline license verification keys (where supported) are verified locally using cryptographic signatures.

GhostHUD Chart is a frameless, click-through financial chart HUD widget for Windows 10/11. It fetches public read-only candlestick market data (Gold, Forex, Crypto, Indices) to render real-time charts and stores your chart layout, selected symbol, timeframe, and opacity locally in ~/.ghosthud_chart/. No trading account credentials or personal data are ever requested or collected.

GhostHUD Reader

GhostHUD Reader is a translucent, click-through desktop teleprompter and document reader for Windows 10/11. All text, Markdown, EPUB, and source code files opened in GhostHUD Reader are parsed 100% offline in local memory. Reading bookmarks and display settings are saved locally in ~/.ghosthud_reader/.

All Other Microsoft Store Applications by crazykenvn

Any additional utility, widget, or productivity tool published by crazykenvn on the Microsoft Store adheres to this exact same Zero-PII, Local-First privacy standard unless explicitly stated otherwise inside the application's interface.

6. Children's Privacy & Policy Updates

Because our applications do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from any user of any age, they fully comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR, and Microsoft Store IARC age rating standards. Any future updates to this policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
